By registering as a Vendor, you agree to comply with this Policy.
1. Vendor Eligibility
To become a Vendor, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Own or represent a legally registered business (where applicable).
- Provide accurate business and contact information.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Supply genuine and legally permitted products.
Shokesh Business reserves the right to approve, reject, suspend, or terminate any vendor account at its sole discretion.
2. Vendor Registration
Vendors may be required to provide:
- Business Name
- Proprietor/Authorized Person Name
- Mobile Number
- Email Address
- GST Number (if applicable)
- PAN Number (if applicable)
- Business Address
- Bank Account Details (for payouts)
- Product Catalogue
- Brand Authorization (if required)
All information provided must be accurate and kept up to date.
3. Product Listing Requirements
Vendors must ensure that:
- Product descriptions are accurate and complete.
- Images are genuine and represent the actual product.
- Pricing is correct.
- Available stock is regularly updated.
- Products comply with all applicable laws.
- Intellectual property rights of others are respected.
Shokesh Business may remove listings that violate these requirements.
4. Prohibited Products
Vendors must not list products that are:
- Illegal or counterfeit.
- Stolen or fraudulently obtained.
- Hazardous without required approvals.
- Restricted by law.
- Infringing on trademarks, copyrights, or patents.
- Offensive, obscene, or unlawful.
Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination.
5. Orders and Fulfilment
Vendors are responsible for:
- Accepting or rejecting orders promptly.
- Dispatching orders within the agreed timeframe.
- Providing accurate tracking details where applicable.
- Packaging products securely.
- Maintaining adequate inventory.
Repeated delays or cancellations may affect vendor status.
6. Pricing
Vendors are responsible for setting competitive and accurate prices.
Prices displayed on the platform must include all applicable taxes unless otherwise specified.
7. Quality Standards
Vendors must:
- Deliver products matching the listing description.
- Ensure products are free from manufacturing defects.
- Maintain consistent product quality.
- Comply with applicable safety and quality standards.
Poor quality products may lead to account review or suspension.
8. Returns and Refunds
Vendors must cooperate in resolving eligible return and refund requests in accordance with the Shokesh Business Refund and Returns Policy.
Where a vendor is responsible for a defective, incorrect, or damaged product, the vendor may be required to bear the associated costs, subject to applicable agreements.
9. Payments
Vendor payments will be processed according to the agreed settlement schedule after:
- Successful order completion.
- Confirmation of payment from the customer.
- Deduction of applicable commissions, fees, taxes, or adjustments.
Payment timelines may vary depending on the payment method and agreement.
10. Intellectual Property
Vendors retain ownership of their trademarks, logos, and product content but grant Shokesh Business a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use such materials for listing, marketing, and promoting products on the platform.
11. Compliance
Vendors must comply with:
- Applicable tax laws.
- Consumer protection laws.
- Product safety regulations.
- Intellectual property laws.
- Any policies published by Shokesh Business.
12. Suspension or Termination
Shokesh Business may suspend or terminate a vendor account if the vendor:
- Provides false information.
- Violates this Policy.
- Sells counterfeit or prohibited products.
- Receives repeated customer complaints.
- Engages in fraudulent or unethical activities.
Termination does not affect any obligations arising before the termination date.
13. Limitation of Liability
Shokesh Business acts as a platform connecting buyers and vendors. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from transactions between buyers and vendors.
14. Changes to This Policy
Shokesh Business may update this Vendor Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be published on the website with a revised effective date.
Continued use of the platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
